Beable Contract Win at North London Waste Authority
EMS’ beable has secured an ongoing contract with North London Heat and Power Project to provide providing social distancing bracelets for around 150 contractors across 7 contractors being Galldris, Barhale, Taylor Woodrow, Wood Group, Arup, Buckingham and DSM with purpose-built software to enable the site to continue to remain open and productive during the current COVID social distancing restrictions and into the future. The next key milestone is delivery of finessed firmware based on feedback from the trial and new hardware and bracelets.
The app gives construction workers and employers a simple red/green check of their ability to work and was developed and deployed by EMS and COMIT Projects Ltd.
beable Saves Construction from COVID
Luckily, technology exists so Construction sites can stay open (law permitting) and take care of their workers with beable® Wearable which has been deployed at pilot stage at a large north London site to keep workers safe and productive; it facilitates physical distancing as well as interaction tracking. Co-developed by Electronic Media Services and COMIT Projects and funded by Innovate UK, the new technology has been well received and plans to rollout to further sites in Q2 this year are underway.
